INDIAN GIRLS CODE

  • Indian Girls Code, an initiative by Robotix, is a free hands-on coding and robotics education programme for underprivileged girls.
  • The first Indian Girls Code initiative is at an all girls orphanage Annai Ashram in Trichy, Tamil Nadu India, an ongoing programme teaching 75 girls coding and robotics completely "free”.
  • Niti Aayog Govt of India and UNESCO have accorded recognition to this IGC initiative.
  • Aditi Prasad COO was invited to be the Keynote Speaker at UNESCO's Policy Forum Cracking the Code : Girls' Education in STEM, held in Bangkok in August 2017.
  • TEDx Chennai India at its March 2018 event invited Aditi Prasad to talk on the Indian Girls Code initiative.
  • Aditi Prasad was also honoured by Govt of Singapore in Sep’ 2017 to be one amongst 15 Young Societal leaders selected from around the World for a global leadership event.
  • Amongst other initiatives, Robotix have also partnered with Ford Motor Co., CISCO Systems & Amazon, to extend STEM, Robotics & Coding to more underprivileged girls.
